The Quality plan and guidelines formalizes the approach that will be followed by
the partners of the SEA-PLASTIC-EDU project to ensure the highest possible
quality of the project activities, outputs and outcomes. Additionally, there will be
minimum quality criteria for the assessment of 4 objects of consideration:
I. The specific project management and related processes – Quality guideline
describing all project management roles and processes including decision
making, deliverable and milestone management as well as time
management.
II. Collaboration between Universities and Enterprises (Laos, Vietnam and
EU) – Quality indicators to assess successfully established relations
between Universities, enterprises and related multipliers
III. Content of the developed trainings (Academic and CPD) – Quality
indicators describing quality aspects of the trainings outputs. Related
decision making processes (including of approval of modules and
feasibility to update courses).
IV. Social aspects – Quality guidelines as basis to assess international team
work and team spirit in the project.
The deliverable itself is produced based on clear responsibilities: the WP leader
(TUD) drafts the manual, involves the WP leader of Project management (WP 8)
of the project and obtains feedback from all partners. The task leader then
finalizes the manual which will be approved by the Management Board. The
electronic version of the Manual will be made available to all of the Work
package leaders. During the project implementation, TUD as WP leader will also
monitor the implementation and acceptance of the quality procedures along
with Project Management team.

The structure of the deliverable is as follows:
Chapter 2 defines the quality expectations of the consortium regarding the
project as a whole, its deliverables, i.e. the documents, workshops, meetings and
other activities and the project management as well as the general guidelines to
be followed. Chapter 3 defines the internal monitoring strategy and outlines the
responsibilities of the project partners as well as the core principles of the risk
management strategy. Chapter 4 describes the external monitoring strategy.
Chapter 5 focuses on the financial and technical reporting duties of the partners
and finally. The Annexes to the document provide templates (which are also
available separately) to be used by the project partners.
