Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Institute for environmental science, engineering and management (IESEM) is an experienced organization in teaching and solving environmental problems. In the purpose of developing high-quality academic education in the area of plastic-waste recycling and waste management, we, a Plastic-Edu coordinator in Vietnam, will organize the training hub where provide the below courses:

  • Course 1: Occupational safety in the Plastics industry

Brief description: Short term training course for technicians from industrial partners and fresh graduate students. Broad knowledge of Health and Safety Law, Risk Management in the Plastic Industry are provided. The content of this course includes an explanation of the role of leadership and workers in occupational safety, risk identification and management, and workshop activities, etc. Please click here for more information.

  • Course 2: Plastic waste management in the circular economy

Brief description: Short term training course for managers, leaders of plastic companies. Providing broad knowledge of policies, regulations in plastic waste management, trends of waste treatment and their financial aspects. Please click here for more information.

  • Course 3: Pollution control in Plastic recycling (including laboratory practices)

Brief description: Academic training course for bachelor students. This course helps students in IUH Environmental Faculty approach to the general knowledge of Plastic waste management, Plastic recycling, pollution in plastic recycling, etc. Besides theoretical classes, students have opportunities to practice and review their knowledge in some practical works. These courses will be carried by experts and lecturers from Plastic-Edu Project. Trainees will approach to useful knowledge about plastic recycling such as recycling technologies, legislation, plastic safety assessment, etc.
