The SEA PLASTIC EDU project has the participation of 6 major universities in Austria, Germany, Denmark, Laos and Vietnam:

The overall goal of the project is to support universities in Vietnam and Laos in modernizing and improving higher education at the levels of training engineers, bachelors and technicians by establishing Education concept about plastic recycling and waste management; Improving the ability to graduate after graduation and the entrepreneurial spirit of graduates and staff of schools; Connecting the academic and industrial world in the field of waste management.
Accordingly, modernizing the existing curriculum; Establishing two regional training centers for people working in plastic recycling industry; establishing training network on waste recycling; Training program for trainers; Bringing the concept of sustainable development into waste management subject in Master’s training; Improve skills and qualifications for waste management and technology transfer experts.
At partner universities in Vietnam and Laos, the existing curriculum will be modernized by introducing modern waste management courses with an emphasis on plastic recycling as a challenge. new consciousness.
The modules will be built on the extensive experience of European partner universities in this area and meet the specific requirements of universities and students in each country. The modules will provide students with all aspects of a modern and internationally recognized education.
These activities aim to improve their ability to recruit graduates and prepare them for future challenges related to waste management (focusing on plastic recycling).
In addition to technical aspects, business skills such as economic issues, for example: accounting, business administration, personnel planning and resources, business plan development, project management.
